Morra Operating Under Covid

Additional Terms and Conditions for Covid-19

Information for Hirers

Under the Government’s Covid Protection Framework (traffic lights), the Morra Hall is allowed to be fully operational. However, we encourage:

  • Well-ventilated rooms
  • High-touch surfaces to be cleaned between groups
  • We are encouraging no back-to-back bookings, so that groups have the possibility of arriving and leaving without too much mingling or risk of spreading covid.
  • A vaccine pass is not required to hire the hall or attend events or classes at the hall.
  • Masks are optional, and each hirer is responsible and may make their own decisions on mask use.

Each Hirer is responsible for adhering to the most recent Government’s Covid Protection Framework (traffic lights).

At the time of booking, each Hirer will specify the type of activity and are asked to read and adhere to the Government’s Framework and guidelines, which can be found here:

Wearing face coverings is one way you can help to prevent community spread.

  • Please follow the Framework guidelines for wearing a face covering.
  • If wearing a face mask, please wear proper masks – attached to the head by loops around the ears or head. This means no scarves, bandannas, or jerseys pulled up over the face.

Cleaning and Hygiene

Anyone who is sick should not enter the venue and stay at home.

  • All surfaces that have been used (including door handles, tables, chairs, etc) must be wiped down after use.
  • A high standard of hygiene must be maintained – hand sanitise regularly, cough/sneeze into your elbow, and wash your hands.
  • Sanitisers and wipes will be available for use, however, feel free to bring along your own supply to use as well.

Ventilation

Please keep windows and doors open where possible, to allow for greater ventilation, and ensure to close them again before you leave.
